During my recent transit in Agia Marina, I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Merabello. As a frequent traveler, I value convenience, and this accommodation certainly delivers. The nearest airport is a mere 21 km away, making it incredibly easy to reach and depart without any hassle. the database provided accurate information regarding the distance, ensuring smooth logistics for my stay.
As per the database, one thing to note is that, similar to many other places on Greek islands, hot water is available only during the day. While this may require a bit of planning, it is a minor inconvenience that can be easily managed if you are aware of it.

The location was amazing, just a short walk from the beach and close to supermarkets and restaurants. The area felt safe and the public bus stop was conveniently located right in front of the street. The apartment itself was clean and well-equipped, with a lovely garden and a shelf full of books that you can borrow. The host was very helpful and friendly, making check-in and check-out easy. a great place to stay for exploring Chania, the airport, and other beautiful beaches in the area.
There were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay. The windows didn't have mosquito nets, so we had a couple of unexpected guests in the form of spiders.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa, surrounded by stunning gardens and with a breathtaking view of the sea. The apartment was cleaned daily and had everything we needed. The host, Kostas, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to supermarkets and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms and spacious balcony with a view of Chania. The free public parking and the secure inner yard were added bonuses.
We did encounter some unwanted guests in our room due to the lack of mosquito mesh on the windows.

The terrace and free wifi were a great touch, although the sun terrace stole the show - perfect for getting a tan while scrolling through Instagram. The location was ideal, with Agios Dimitrios Church and Platanias Beach just a short distance away.
Oh, how I loved having to share hot water with the island! It was such a thrilling challenge to time my showers perfectly.
